The Air Jordan 17 first launched in 2002, and designer Wilson Smith drew on jazz music for its look, pairing a clean silhouette with a midfoot lace cover. It remains one of the more distinctive later models in Michael Jordan's signature line.

This 2026 pair is part of the Doernbecher Freestyle program, in which patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland design their own Nike and Jordan sneakers, with proceeds supporting the hospital. This design was created by patient Zach Rumbaugh.

Condition notes: The middle chrome strap lock component is missing on the right shoe. See final product images for additional details and condition assessment.
